Retired American General Gary Voleski was suspended from work in the military command for a sarcastic comment that he left on the social network Twitter under the publication of the First Lady of the United States Jill Biden. This is reported by USA Today.
 
In her post, the president's wife criticized the decision of the country's Supreme Court, which deprived American women of constitutional guarantees of the right to abortion. "I'm glad you finally figured out what a woman is," Iraq veteran Voleski replied in the comments. After that, the US Army began investigating his behavior.
 
U.S. Army spokeswoman Cynthia Smith told USA Today that Voleski has been suspended from duty until the process is completed. The retired lieutenant general collaborated with the army as a senior mentor - he advised on various issues and received $ 92 per hour, the publication said.
 
Earlier, an American professor at the University of California in Los Angeles, Gordon Klein, was suspended from work after he refused to simplify exams for blacks. It is noted that the teacher refused to make concessions that will allow "without harm to health" to pass the final exam on the course.
